If you haven't already, head on over to the lovely world of myspace and check out our new track "Talk Talk Talk". Although not slated to be a part of Please Try Again, it is the latest thing that we have managed to complete in the studio. However, it is sure NOT to be the last. We have had our little heads burried in the headphones at The Cabin studios and we are finally starting to get some things done. We have finished basic tracking on a couple of songs and we've been on quite the roll recently. Things hit a small snag when JJ tore up his ring finger while trying to bench press 1,000,000 lbs. the other day. But don't worry, he'll be better in time for our show at The Cat's Cradle on the 19th. And we are all sure to be looking really buff when we get there (I just curled about 30 lbs. (seriously)). Apparently we hate cancer and so should you. Don't understand what that means? Go here to get the details on the benefit.
We'll see you all soon and hopefully some more tunes will surface in the coming months as we complete them.

Welcome to your first news update of the new year. Where have we been, you might ask? The answer is a little bit of here, there, and everywhere. But now we're all back and ready to get the year started right, most notably on January 16th at the Cat's Cradle with The Rosebuds.
Just before we left for the break, we managed to finish off a track entitled "Talk" that will be part of the forthcoming Pox World Empire Compulation 3 record that should be out sometime in early 2008. This is an unreleased song that we have been playing live. Also on the compulation will be our label-mates Tennis and the Mennonites who will feature a song called "G's Bend". Both of these tracks were produced from the lovely confines of The Cabin Studios. Hopefully The Cabin will also produce our new record, Please Try Again sooner than later.
We hope that you are all keeping with your New Year's resolutions. Ours is to put out a record sometime this year. See you soon!
